Apologies if this has been posted already.... Following information received from several sources ahead of Saturday’s game against Middlesbrough, we would like to remind supporters of the following: Any away supporters found to be sat in home areas of the KC Stadium will be ejected by stewards immediately. This policy will be strictly adhered to and any fans who witness away supporters sat in home areas should inform the nearest steward.
I remember them announcing something similar for the Liverpool games the previous few seasons. Of course, they let the plastic ****s in regardless.
I've heard it all before. I was sat on my own in the North Stand a couple of seasons ago surrounded by Chelsea supporters. Not one or two who had maybe sneaked in with a City suppporting friend but a good 30-40 of them. Worst game I've ever been to at the KC. I did email the club a complaint the next day - never heard one word back.
yeah yeah, I'll believe it when I see it - this happened numerous times in the prem, I particularly remember a group of Geordies in North Stand, some wearing football shirts singing along with their mates the other side of the segregation - the stewards do sweet FA
If you make a complaint about someone in your section, either film your conversation with the steward yourself, or get a mate to film you. If the smoggies aren't ejected, you have actual proof you can then post to YouTube and inform the Club.
A steward earns how much? He's hardly likely to try and eject half a dozen pissed up away fans and risk getting a right hander for his trouble is he? Sort the problem out yourself and steam in, preferably tooled up. It's the only way to do it.
I couldn't get a ticket with the away fans at Old Trafford so I bought hospitality in the opposite corner. When City scored practically all the corner jumped up. The stewards started throwing City fans out for reasons such as standing up.
This is the first time they've promised to eject. Before against Liverpool and the like they said away fans in the home end can't wear colours and not to make a scene, whilst under 12's were allowed to wear colours or do whatever the fook they want.
Last time we played Boro, a load of theirs got thrown out of the corporate seats for ignoring numerous warnings to behave.
Do they have an away corporate section? I thought the corporate area was always sold out. Isn't there a waiting list?
There are always corporate seats available for away fans, though there's rarely any in attendance outside of Premier League games. The Premier Club closed it's membership a while back, but I've no idea if it's still sold out. Even when it was, there's a limited number of seats held back for people who want additional tickets for guests, there's also boxes available to away fans.
How come sports around the world can have stadiums with fans all mixed together? Abd they all mix together at world cup
Wearing away shirts in home areas is not on, nor is away chanting and generally being a tosser, but there are always plenty who simply go to watch the game, have good banter with the home fans and do it with nothing other than a positive experience; I'm one of them. As long as you don't take the piss you'll normally be fine, that is unless you come up against folk with problems.
