not a rant at snq frustration about filling the sol, but more about away supporters numbers,
1 is there a set figure or a maximum number allocated to away supporters,
2 how many away teams sell out thier allocation
3 are the numbers partly dictated by the men in blue
i ask these questions as last night i watched chelsea v everton (well done toffees) and the commentators kept harping on about the away numbers, 6000 scousers made the trip to stamford bridge (again well done). that is a good number and they all made for a good athmosphere.
so back to my question, for the bigger teams who are likely to sell out thier allocation is it not feasible to give them more. i know snq wants more season tickets sold, but any full house makes for a good athmosphere. look at safc away support, always makes for a good game.
it may not be the permanent solution, but surely any little helps.
if i was in a boxing match with dennis, i'd be delighted to face him if he goes down that easy (on dennis wise) peter reid
