Nor do I For starters don/t have enough loyalty points now. Would have prior to 2015 Dont know whether its an age thing or general lethargy Have had season ticket since '88, and have renewed next season I still like to feel connected with or club but have only been tot 4 home games this season I have watched all league games bar one by other means. If i never had this facility I would definetly attend more home games. Season ticket made to good use though frequently used by other, younger SAFC fans Bit of a part timer now I guess!! But frankly I couldnt give a **** about what others think. SAFC Till I die
Yeah me too go to all the home games when fit I now realise all the away tickets are for the supporters who travel to every away match I’m ok with that
Ohhh sorry may I add I know many people who don’t have a season card/ticket and attend when they can However history has proven to me that they can still get away tickets
They're will always be ways of getting tickets for away or the big games. You know - "mate of a mate,", "I know someone who can help ". I don't have a problem with that, in fact good luck to them. I have great memories of away games, I sometimes used to prefer away games to home ones
Vince do we not sell every away ticket every game? Can't do much more than that or are you being sarcy? Some amazing fans, in fact loads of them, following SAFC. By the way I like your to the point posts, nice style mate
Could that not be geographical thing though? They are about 2 2&half hours closer to most other teams than we are. That's 4 or 5 hours there n back extra travelling for a game.
Is it this that's being referred to perhaps..... Here's the championship ones if anyone is interested...
Yeah we have and have done all my life fantastic support I remember back in the day there was scores of buses tacking the travelling supporters all over the country Yeah I was been a bit sarcy
Away games were the best. Different battle cruisers, were you getting home that night, how much would the fine be haha. Great laughs.
I remember coming out of stoke city’s ground and ran the gauntlet through there fans got on the bus And after travelling 10-20 miles with a police escort the driver realised there were tacking us south Us on the bus we’re livid cause it ment we did get to our arranged pub up north till a very later time it left us not much during time Cause you were kicked our at 10 30 Happy days
Haven't been to an away game in years and can't see me making one any time soon. I have a season card now I am living back up here so will see at the home games next year unless work or family things prevent it, but no idea how I will ever get enough points to get a ticket for an away game.
Right. Traveling from Sheffield is not quite the same thing. Our gates are sometimes ridiculously huge for the 'close' games like Leeds (next year?), Doncaster, and dare I dare I say, Sheffield?
