First of all great win today, Spiderman and Barnard changed the game! Now is anyone else feeling a bit worried looking at the away games we have coming up to the end of the season, there are some difficult games in their. Here are the away games: Walsall- W Colchester- D Bournemouth- L Charlton- D Plymouth- W Leyton Orient- W Rochdale- L Brighton- D Brentford- D What do you guys think? Would that be enough to see us in the top 2? Would include the Home games but as a team in the race for the top 2 you would expect us to win them all but then again we are Saints...
Walsall- W Colchester- W Bournemouth- W Charlton- D Plymouth- W Leyton Orient- D Rochdale- L Brighton- W Brentford- L that how i think we'll do
Lads ... 1 game at a time!! Forget who we have in 2/3 weeks! In that time the opposition could have injuries or suspensions Let's just focus on next game and that alone!
Good call Kingsland. I think we will lose somewhere in the next month but not at Walsall. Plymouth had a great result today and are still in with a shout of saving there season. Let's win the next game and then start to worry about the likes of Colchester and then the Cherries.
Walsall- W Colchester- D Bournemouth- W Charlton- W Plymouth- L Leyton Orient- D Rochdale- W Brighton- D Brentford- D That's how I reckon we'll do.
Don't overlook the games we have ahead of us in the immediate future , one game at a time as Kingsland said. Big game like they all are at Walsall - winning will take us within reach of Bournemouth who have some tricky ties soon.
I think Walsall will be a lot tougher than people think and we need to concentrate on that game. However, this is how I think we'll do Walsall- W Colchester- L Bournemouth- D Charlton- W Plymouth- W Leyton Orient- D Rochdale- L Brighton- D Brentford- W
I for one think tuesday should be a win for us BUT... Walsall are fighting are relegation: So they are going to be up for this just as much as we are going to be. This will be quite a interesting one!!
I echo those sentiments ONE GAME AT A TIME........There are going to be surprise results, in either direction. It is going to the wire. We just need to get behind the team give them a bit of noise to let them know we are there.......It went very quite on Saturday during the first half.......OK the tactics by Swindon were there for all to see......but we seemed to invite them on to us. So from Lallana's goal we seemed to move further and further back conjuring up the odd attack. Almost as if we were expecting them to score, which of course they did early in the second half. We have to have a bit more sharpness about us, or perhaps it is we are not hungry enough. Either way we have to take each and every game by the scruff of the neck before the other side scores ....not after!!!!
Have to agree with Beddytare in that we nearly wanted Swindon to get a goal. Tuesday is a massive game would be amazing to sneak a win. We are currently on a two points a game run which is pretty good. Would that ratio be enough for top two?
