Rumour has it Alan Walsh had left Bristol rovers. Not sure if he was pushed or jumped. Maybe the new owner has a new approach on the academy side. Home grown talent a key to our future.
Source Thorngas?...can't find anything yet. ( An U18 0-4 home loss to Northampton earlier might have sealed it. “It was a very disappointing day and we have a great deal of work to do out on the training ground. “We also need to rebuild confidence within the squad as they were, understandably, a little bit down following this defeat and they need to get their heads up help us get back on track".)
Strange how Wiki can be up to date before its actually been officially announced. I had hoped the new beginning at Rovers would stop the club being 2 weeks behind with announcements if you know what I mean!
I just seen on guzzler that someone else is confirming its true. Someone just asked if they know whats happened!
He's a good guy. But perhaps they're looking for a new approach for the youth development, or an academy. If that's the case they would probably go for someone new.
If they are going for an academy would the manager in charge need a higher coaching qualification than A W has or maybe he is friends with Lee Johnson and going back to City
No real evidence yet that he has....re-instated on wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Walsh_(footballer)
Wasn't there some rumour that Kelsey somebody was interested in investing in the club when we were relegated to the conference, if that is correct was it walshy's son in law He is still listed on the staff of the Rovers Just had a look at players who came through the academy and saw the name Shaquille Hunter, what became of him
This Kelsey bloke is Dr Crane from Frasier (Kelsey Grammer). And he is Walshy's father in law not son in law please log in to view this image
