I know its early days, but I did a little bit of analysis on the average attendances this season so far... Spanners 10761 Palarse 13424 Addicks 14980 Only teams above us in Div 1 are the 2 Sheffs - and we have bigger average than the likes of Portsmouth. And also our average is not far off QPR's. One interesting stat is that Brighton have an average of 19790, however Football365 has their capacity at 8000 !!!! http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/attend.html
And whilst palarse and Millwall are happy with their attendances this season we aren`t says alot that does
promotion will start putting 18,000+ crowds on the gates again and will soon shut the other 2 up as thats about as good as they're going to get barring Premier League football which I can't see either achieving anytime soon
Another interesting stat is from the non-league where Luton have an average of nearly 6000 but Hayes and Yeading have an average of less than 500 - you can imagine Luton playing there and having more fans than the home team. In div 2 the top team is Bradford with nearly 10000
10,000 who didn't think Parky would be there a couple of weeks into the season...I wonder if he will split the Bradford fans the same way he split us and what the gates will be like next season if they don't go up
They need to fix their maximum capacities in the PL as well, as both Chelsea and Norwich are selling over 100% of their capacity! The ridiculous prices QPR have been charging show in their dismal average of 15703.
