Just remembered that we'll be welcoming back an oldie, who was with us for years and left us when he was still a relative youngster of 25 - Chris Baird. I wonder if he'll get a cheer. I hope so.
I liked Chris Baird. I'll never forget him playing in the Cup Final and the camera catching him looking down at his medal with a look of amazement on his face. Great day out. I'll give him a hearty round of applause.
He would fit very nicely into our back four now,solid ,experienced and could play anywhere across the line.One of those guys who on recollection rarely had a bad game.
