This was a great response from avb to Neville criticism of Luiz and pundits in general. "Most of these people we are speaking about have a direct past related to single clubs, which are their favourite clubs, which in the end brings a likely biased position in their opinion-making," he said. "Comic criticism from top ex-professional players when they take the route to the ridiculous, I think I have a word to say. "When they opt for words as we've been seeing, in the past, I have to be aggressive."
He's so right. As in Hansen on £40,000 per appearance on MOTD to tell us his thoughts about Liverpool.
It's a great quote and he's absolutely right. I do think though that he needs to realise that there is criticism angled at every PL club and not just Chelsea - he seems to feel that the media are rubbing their hands in glee at the thought of another failure for the west-London club. I realise he's only just got here, but I think his attitude to the media in general has so far been a little foolish.
Agree with this. I like AVB a lot, especially in how he pulls up the media for their obvious attempts at extracting headlines from him etc. But he seems to think it's only directed at him, which is wrong.
Strange words from AVB. I thought Ba was onside? Also do not see what the Man U penalty has got to do with anything, Pardew admitted we were lucky there and one mistake does not justify another mistake. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7368250/AVB-annoyed-by-Pardew
