Should not make a difference. They have a tough game Weds and if we are on our game we can beat them. Simples!
I'm sure I read that, as of Saturday night, MP was the eleventh longest serving PL manager. If so, he's now tenth. Madness! VIn
Not sure whether good or bad for us (the only thing that matters). Sometimes the team is more up for it....especially if the manager was unpopular. Spurs expect a lot from their manager but he hasn't left them in a terrible position. Probably shouldn't have sacked Redknapp.
Redknapp? Just kidding. Wonder who they will get. Guess they can stick with their assistants for a week or two so I don't really expect anyone new in the dug out.
Well, given that they could hardly be playing worse with the squad they have - worse, but..! If they are still with a caretaker manager, or if they are still in disarray, or if a new manager makes them play very differently to what they are used to, so that they are still getting used to it, then better.
Knee jerk reaction by the Spurs board. I really rate him as one of the best young managers in Europe.
Not sure you'll find anybody outside of Porto that agrees with you. Worse for us, but we can still beat them.
As I said in another thread....don't write them off. It will not be the first time they have let in a shed load of goals and then come out all guns blazing and turned things round again. It has happened countless time before.......will be a hard fought game especially as players will be playing for their position trust me.
Don't forget we are hurting from some bad results and are coming out fighting (literally in Jimi's case ) with 2 valuable draws. At home we will be a team to be reckoned with.
If they go for a manager from the top two leagues in England, there's only one choice: Steve McLaren. No, I can't believe I just said that either, but just look what he's done to Derby's form. Levy will look abroad though I dare say.
On the face of it the timing's bad for us, as the players will have something to prove in their next couple of games. Trying to look at it from a Spurs point of view, they've had too many managers in too short a time imo, and this just smacks of desperation on Levy's part.
