He's not played his best recently though that's maybe because we have been terrible overall when it comes to defending. Should be better than Luiz by any chance.

I agree, he hasn't been anywhere near what he's capable of but then again none of your team have really been at their best this season. It'd be a good deal all round, you'll get a sum to spend in Jan and keep you up and we'll get a needed defender.

For £8m I can't see much pressure on Cahill here.

Think Cahill is a good defender. He just needs to be in a better team and playing with better players will help him alot. Bolton have been really awfull this season.

Like the idea of Cahill coming and I think he will improve with our players around him(no disrespect to Bolton)and I think to help them out and to do ourselves a big favour in the long run we should loan out Josh and maybe Lukaku to hopefully save them from relegation,as I have much respect for Owen Coyle and it would be a tragedy if they ended up sacking him, look at the great job he did with Wiltshire and our own Danny.
But still begs the question..........What the **** has Alex done to upset AVB?

More a question of the other way round, just isn't in his plans due to making stupid mistakes at such a mature age and Alex just handed in a request knowing he wouldn't be played much. Still a good player but he's not exactly a 'raw talent'

Unfortunately we can't loan both Josh and Lukaku to Bolton because a club isn't allowed to have two loanees from the same club, i'd like josh to go to bolton/swansea and i'd like Lukaku to go Bolton if josh goes Swansea or Stoke. On the alex note AVB said something today like a decision isn't final with him regarding his transfer and there looking at him in our plans or something?

You have forgotten about Kakuta, so we cant loan anyone to Bolton. And Cahill....hmm, good squad player.

Oh really? Yeah, what a useful loan that was. Atleast he'll be a pro bench warmer now.

Hopefully AVB sees how little faith Coyle had in him and AVB finally gets rid of him in January, his **** and is filling up a useful space in our squad that Lalkovic should be promoted into too

Cahill in Jan seems an absolute no brainer especially with Alex now out of favour and set to leave. Probably be pretty much a straight swap money wise.

Really don't see the point in Rodwell though. Surely we should be more intent on bringing on our own Josh McEachran. And if we are going to buy another midfielder, there are surely better options for the money. Shaqiri (sic?) for Basel for one looks mustard, Gotze likewise.
