Hello members, I've just had a quick glance at a large number of Gills usernames and have noticed a lack of avatars, probably less than 50%. So come on Gills members, get updating your profiles, maybe something that represents the Gills in some way or your personality etc. Google what you want for your avatar (best use google images), go to Forum Actions - general settings then select 'edit Avatar'. The usual self moderation please. thanks brb
I like the avatars but the problem on here is that they limit the size to 80x80. In other words, they are impossible to see.
Have tried numerous times to add an avatar, to no avail always comes up with some rubbish for why it didnt work!! lol Too technical 4 me
ive given up, always says invalid file!! im choosing pics that are 80x80 n have tried downloading image to me comp then searching n adding pic or the 1st option of copying the omages url address but wont work however i try so its not gonna happen!!

The file must also not be bigger than 19.5kb, jayGills74 if you know how to post the image on here, do so and I will have a look at it for you. To do that 'Go Advanced', then click this please log in to view this image , delete http:// and paste image i.e. 'Copy Image URL'.
lol unfortunately my kids here today are 3 n 5!! Its even beyond them. I have been trying allday n have made sure pic is no more than 80x80 and file size is on 1.9kb. In fact ive tried umpteen pics to no avail so have officially given up!!!

i did do this brb but the pic never showed just the url address in it had literally hundreds n hundreds of chacters, is that right? so i deleted it off
If your trying to get a pic on your computer then makesure its saved under a .JPEG...this will allow it to work...if it already is then Fack knows lol
Yh what i was trying was a jpeg, have got kinda bored of trying now, will be forever known as the faceless man. Man try again wen kids in bed n have consumed enough alcohol!! Will probably work better with less thought process!!
jayGills - I've already worked out what you are doing wrong when attempting to post the pic purely on this thread When you find a pic, say for example in google images, you sometimes have to click the picture once, this will enlarge the pic, then you copy the URL. If you try to copy an image in some cases without doing this, you just end up with the type you mentioned.
yay look at that after about 8hrs of trying, one glass of alcohol and ive done it by mistake as well!!! hahaha Oh well it can stay now Thanks for the offers of help ppl
