Now two things. Free transfers often bring with them a lot of negativity on these boards but I will say if you are signing these players with "no fee" then you will still be paying a signing on fee and giving big wages to some so not a negative in itself. The other point is all of the above have premier league experience and despite some of them coming to the end of their careers I believe that with the blend of good youngsters we already have (gradel,howson,schmeichal, snoddy,white etc) then there is some shrewd business to be had from the above list. Javier Garrido plays for Lazio by the way. Tamir Cohen, Spector, Osbourne and David Jones would be good signings. Woodgate, possibly but he's so injury prone. A lot of these players might be good, but I haven't really seen them play. Offer Michael Woods a pay as you play deal, because after his 0 league appearances since he left Leeds, we can't be sure he'd be able to play many games.
Let Woods rot. He's made two professional appearances ever and failed to even get the loan matches in which Tom Taiwo could be arsed to go find/was good enough to be offered. Out of that list, I fancy Tamir Cohen the most. Rob Edwards, Bolo Zenden and Jason Koumas might all be good too; never seen much of Gabbidon or Spector.
