A word of advice BC. You don't have to jump in the water to catch the fish a rod and line will do the job just fine. You might find it a bit warmer that way.

Looks a bit wild for me. I prefer at least a few houses around that I can see. And a pub, and a cafe and a coffee shop and a food shop and.................

Twas -5C I could hear Wolves somewhere. Rainbow Trout is the catch and yes i'm in my boat. I notice my life jacket isn't done up so it would be useless if i went over board.

At -5C I would think that a quick death might be preferable rather than waiting till your bollox have dropped off which wouldn't take that long. My advice would be don't fall in.

Last summer my boat capsized in rough water My life was saved by my Life Jacket i was 20yds off shore the wind was blowing that way so i just relaxed on my back looking at the sky enjoying life as i drifted to in. Actually with 10yds to go i was in 6" of water LOL
Even my boat made it to shore goes to show how good the Jacket was, most boaters don't wear them.

You are Grizzly Adams aren't you. I get agitated when a wasp has an annoying fly around my head and it rains when I'm out without a coat. I couldn't cope with all that outdoor stuff. I'd eat the hunting and fishing catches though but only if somebody else skinned it and cooked it.
