    Can someone please inform me as to why Austin has still not signed for Leeds United? Surely the international clearance has gone through now.

    He has signed as far as I know, he had to sort some pesonal papers out In Jamaica I think, Im sure he will line up against Preston.

    Paul Dews tweeted yesterday that he got his work permit last week. It's his entry visa paperwork that's holding things up. Had already signed for us, conditional on him getting his work permit.

    Buggered if I know! Never heard of a footballer having a problem with an entry visa. I know that a few years ago, I had to wait weeks for an appointment for my US entry visa - in fact I went to Belfast as it was about 6 weeks less of a wait then London. Not sure how long it takes to get one for coming in to this country.

    Wonder if the Olympics is slowing everything up? Higher demand from visitors for entry visas, less staff to deal as they're all on hols watching the telly?

    Weren't they on strike a few weeks ago? Never wished to be a civil servant, as I have a personality, that said, they get paid a healthy amount for pen pushing.
