The signing of Austin is the better result.

I agree, but still, two very decent aditions, could be the boost they needed. Although Austin isn't a done deal yet.

Will be interesting to see how Austin does. I expect him to be good, but if he can't make the step up I will be glad we didn't sign him.

Apparently Swindon have accepted a bid, so now he's in talks with them, so i'd be very interested to know what the bid they've accepted is! I think he'd have been worth a punt, but at no more than what we paid for Mclean.

I think by Swindon accepting this bid, it may flush out interest from a 'big' club.

I was thinking that, but then league 1 to the prem would be a huge jump wouldn't it? Apparently blackpool have expressed interest in him, and if anyone could bring the best out of him in the premier league then i guess they'd be the ones to do it, i mean look at Adam!

they will need more than bullard and austin. Austin may go but he hs gone way off the boil of late. Still sulkin he is still with swindon. After the arsenal games i expect ipswich to struggle now.

The deals off, they couldn't agree personal terms, Austin is now in talks with Burnley.

Very greedy boy. A chance to play in the championship when hes currently down the leagues, If by monday he is still playing in that league then he is just a money motivated money grabber who in which case i would be happy we didnt sign. *cough* jimmy *cough*
