http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16343841.stm?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Personally, I'd agree with him. Against Bale he'd be right up against it, and I thought he looked easily our most impressive midfielder against QPR. I wouldn't like to be in Buck's shoes right now, but I'm sure he'll figure something out!
LOL, I think most fullbacks in the premier feel that way, watched the match, first half I thought you totally bossed the midfield so a pretty strange decision by BR to weaken it by moving arguably your best player on the day to right back, was Routledge injured as I also thought he was having a reasonable game.
Taylor will be back to left back & Jazz will go to right back , Agustien knows that so I'm not sure why he's rambling in the media . Chances are he'll never have to play there again , but if he does , it should be a " You bet boss " & be thankful to help the team . P.S. Rodgers said in an interview that he wanted Dyer to come on to help Agustien when he replaced Rangel . Routledge took a knock after he was already set to come off Sussex , not sure if it was serious ... knowing our luck lately , it will be .
Figure something out Scotty!! A chimpanzee could have figured out, the correct substitution yesterday, and quit simply Rodgers Bizarre substitutions has cost us again! Why hasn't Besson been anywhere near our bench? he was a great left back, before signing for Leeds, no excuse for our manager not having him on the bench, in the absence of Taylor, and why the hell didn't he bring on Monk, and move Caulker to right back, I hope that our board question Rodgers over this, as it cost us the game yesterday, very poor indeed! Augustien makes a very valid point, and I for one don't expect this sort of decision making at Swansea, it's the sort of thing you'd expect at amateur clubs like Neath and Llanelli, not PL club like Swansea City...................... please log in to view this image
how many goal will our fellow welshman score against us for spurs, it dont bare thinking about, vorm my son look out you had better be on your best form..
Rodgers needs a slap if he puts Agustien @ full back for the spurs game. **** knows why he did it against QPR!! We were controlling the midfield then he gets put at RB and Allen, Britton and Moore couldnt put in a decent strong challenge between then, then we get over run as they had clearly been told to get in or faces at half time. Plus Britton and Allen then reverted to the GDM (Gower Default Method) and passed everything backwards or sideways. Rodgers cost us 2 points in that game...dont get me wrong the blind asshole of a ref didnt help but that one switch was by far, on its own, the stupidest I have ever seen Rodgers do!!!
Moore played " Agustien's " position our last win against Fulham , and did an excellent job of it . I suppose with the defense dropping like flies & Caulker out next game , Buck wanted to kill two birds with one stone . Bring a proven player in to replace Agustien in midfield so he can prepare Agustien with some time ( he probable new Rangel was going to be doubtful for awhile ) at right back , in this emergency situation . That way there he has some sort of option if Taylor is not fit or another defender goes down . We've been a team of interchanging players for a long time , this is the first complaint I've heard from a player about being part of it . Lots of intangibles about making managerial decisions
surely though Cracker the manager must know a players limitations, i knew in my time as a player if i went near the right side of the field i was fk*d as did all my teammates so surely BR must know that KA cant play fb for sh*t
Kemy has mentioned in the past that he is prepared to play anywhere for the team, he probably had centre half in mind not full back !!
" Surely though Cracker a manager must know a players limitations " ...A lot better than us Musty , a whole lot better than us !! . A manager also must not allow a player to dictate where he plays , that goes for all teams but specially us .
agree to an extent cracker but tbh the player will prob go out with a negative attitude, surely the club has a better and natural right back?
Any player that goes out with a negative attitude because of where the manager is playing him , needs to ride the bench ... bar none ! Little disappointed in Agustien , seems to me earlier in his stint with us he wanted to go or get loaned out because he had a lip on about minutes played or something . Players should keep their laces tight & their mouth shut so managers can concentrate on there difficult jobs .
Breezy we had a defender and captain on the Bench, well capable of seeing out 15 minutes with QPR, Rodgers should never have removed Agustien from midfield, crazy decision, which I think most Jacks would agree, knowing our current midfield blues.................... please log in to view this image
What happens if Monk gets injured in those 15 minutes & we got no one for Tottenham . I can come with as many reasons why as you can come up with reasons why not .... & neither will know the truth why or why not things are done Phil , just speculation Happy New Year to ya !
