August Predictions -Winner - STUMPY

How many points will we get in August? It's a bit of a step in to the unknown playing unfamiliar opposition with an unfamiliar squad, but be brave and put your necks on the line

I see 3 if we are lucky and that will be against Preston, cant see us getting anything elsewhere, may just nick a point against Birmingham, we will be in the bottom 3 come the end of those fixtures.

 

I’m hopeful that we will sign some players and some will return early from injury....

Managed to glean absolutely nothing from the friendlies, don't have a clue who'll be around to play this month. Will the Premier league quality of J Ayew still be hear? the Championship quality of Clucass, Narsingh? the League one quality of Fernandez? where will they be, in the squad or out the club? Will the crocked Alfie Mawson or Bony still be hear, if so when will they play? is VDH fit? Are we going to be relying on players with no experience, Grimes at wing-back, Asorro, Dhanda, or any other U23's who took part in friendlies? Will Monte want to play in the rain? how long before he's injured again?

We are all over the place aren't we? can anyone tell me of a time when we were more unsettled?

I'm hopeful that Montero will be in form and stay fit. If he plays to his ability then nobody in the championship will be able to contain him.
However - what are the realistic chances of that happening????

Well in the PL where there are less cloggers, he couldn't manage a game every week, how the **** is he going to cope with 2 games a week and visiting the likes of Brentford on a Tuesday night, love him to be fit and flying, think we be lucky to get a game in 4 or 5 out of him.
