Someone mention my old mate Raymond Harvey ? gave me my first micro dot at the tender age of 13 use to go in Haworth Arms with Ray and Hippy Floyd when i was a little skinhead.. think i was the only hairless one up in that room , bloody Hippies. I remember how King Athur use to send Raymond around to anyone who tried to open another tattoo shop in Hull with Mr Fairkettle, amazing how quick those two could close a rival Tattoo shop.. Good old Ray Harvey...
Cheeky git Mr patty and chips Nothing wrong with a shaved head and a pair of red braces, iv got mine on as i type. Docs not Steel toe cap boots nowadays. And its hard to get hold of the old original Grandad T shirts / vests
Ray was considered the most dangerous bloke in Hull, permanently on a 9.00pm curfew(which he completely ignored), but he was a real gent to all those who knew him(as long as you didn't wear a uniform, or piss him off).

I'd just like to thank some of you for wasting 10 minutes of my life from reading this thread. Especially as most of the posts were correcting grammar, insulting people because they're students and insulting somebody for having a job. Much appreciated.
Well said. I agree by the way. Player threads also should be kept and or moved to ""Brucies shopping List"" until names are confirmed as 100% signed up with us.
I've spoken to Dawn ... she's not that keen ... but she did think the Queens car park sounded like an appropriate venue ...
Anyone who knew (of) Ray and Hull in them early days would agree with your first statement - he was a dangerous guy; it was not reputation, it was actions and facts. He was on curfew for very good reasons and matters not to be glorified on here by reminiscent glorifiers of infamy. What happened in his later years sounds very sad, but probably inevitable. There were quite a few who could have taken him on, within his own terms, but they had more personal decency and simple standards. The Krays were also loved by many; how easily knowing a dodge-pot becomes a badge (I thought you had better perspective, OLM). Anyone remember that big old coat and the machete that he used to intimidate (school) kids when pushing his drugs and being the big I-Am? Pimp, vicious drug user/pusher and all round good fellow was just a half of it - but, perhaps he changed for the better in later life through his love for music (Sic), if so, RIP.
