ok, this for those involved in the attendance game. votes from other will not count. the cheltenham game has caused an issue with regards to our away fans. we sold out our allocation 1466 tickets. however cheltenhams OS claim there was 1468 of us in the away end. how can this be so as the game was all ticket? thats 2 different figures which obviously impacts on majority of your predictions. on top of this, i was there myself and in my row there were 3 empty seats and i personally know 2 people who had tickets who couldnt make it as well. therefore there was not 1466 or 1468 gasheads in the away end. so this is a tricky one. in my opinion this game should be classed as void and ignored everyone scoring zero points as either figure i accept will effect a majority of you and therefore it will not be fair. thats my opinion. however i want to leave it to you guys to make the decision as im showing fairness. so i am putting this to the vote which will be closed saturday 11pm friday night. dont be selfish and look for your own benefits but instead be reasonable and fair to your fellow gasheads so then, pick one of the following for your vote. 1, void 2, 1466 (even though there were empty seats) 3, 1468 (even though we only sold 1466 and it was all ticket and there were empty seats) cheers
Despite the obvious discrepancy the official club stats have to be taken as correct in this and any future games as by us just guessing and assuming it will become total farce.

Official attendance although I stand to gain. The point is, we could question/dispute the official attendance figures at almost any game home or away. I agree the Cheltenham figures don't quite add up but to ignore them would set a precidence.

We have to go with official OS attendence or you will have some pratt like me buying a ticket but not going and then disputing the number. What do we do in the future when you get somebody like me cheating when they know how many tickets we have and bank on a sell out?
Ooh a discussion hmm.................. as it is an extremely contentious point I have just rung the ticket office and I was advised that Rovers had a couple of tickets left over from the 1466 allocated so where Cheltenham obtained 1468 from ??? As sensibly suggested it is fair to enjoy the result unless you support Cheltenham and make the match void. This will end all or any further arguments. Oh and for future games CJ may I suggest that only the first guess is accepted. I realise you were being generous but we will only take advantage of your kind nature and then if we dont win COR
Yep, I agree - we have to go on the relevant club's website - Rovers' if we're at home and our opponents' if we're away. I'm gonna lose out though - bloody typical!

i just think as there is a conflict its unfair to award someone 10 points for an exact correct attendance when its reported elsewhere a different attendance and someone else who predicted that attendance could get 10 points. i think as its unfair, no one should get points to make it fair. thats my opinion. i know its a comp that im running and i appreciate you saying i should make the decision but im running this for all of us and this will only work if you guys get involved and remain involved. im just trying to be fair to everyone by getting your views on how you want me to run this
