Just in case you didn't see the post toward the end of last week's thread, there are some additions starting from this week.

    ----

There will now be SIX fixtures instead of five.

When you play your Penalty Card, the score for that fixture will no longer be simply doubled. This is because ATM we are all playing it on the one which will have the lowest attendance. the fixture will now decide as to whether that score is doubled/trebled etc. If you play it on match 1 or 2 it will be doubled; match 3 trebled, match 4 quadrupled, match 5 = x5 and match 6 = x6.

There is a new compulsory card called the Multicard. The effect of this card is that it will treble the fixture score for the players immediately above and below* you in the table. It will also double your score for that fixture. Place an M after the score of your selected match.

You may no longer play more than 1 card per match. All compulsory cards must be played against different matches

There is a new optional card called the Triple-Dare. Unlike the Double-Dare, this pits you against the players above and below* you in the table. The one with the worst weekly total will have his trebled. 2nd place will have his doubled. One sly incentive to play this card is that, if the initiator's weekly total is the best of the three then his will be halved. If one of the others has the best score, his score will simply stand

You cannot play the Double-Dare and the Triple-Dare at the same time.

    Example entry

    43210
    32109 P
    21098
    10987 J
    9876 M
    1234

    Double-Dare

    * Note for Multicard and Triple-Dare. For the purpose of this; if you are at the top of the table, the person "above you" is the person at the foot of the table and vice-versa

We have a new leader this week, with Penshawdave topping the table. Sweep drops to 3rd.
chinasaint posted the best score and moves up a place.
pompeymeowth had a mare. He posted the worst score, had a 10% discount on his score when every-one else had 30% and unwisely chose to play a Double-Dare. As a result, he drops to the bottom of the table and there are rumours about him going into administration <whistle>.

    Fixtures for 3rd March

    Blackburn v Aston Villa
    Rangers v Hearts
    Birmingham v Derby
    Bournemouth v Charlton
    Hereford v Wimbledon
    Southport v Newport

There is one attendance missing. From the figures posted I will assume the missing one to be for match 4 (Bournemouth v Charlton) Please post an attendance for this fixture, otherwise I will have to register you a score of double the worst score for this attendance :(

We have lots of early-birds again this week. The 30% discount is proving to be popular.

The only ones yet to post are the players at the top and foot of the table; penshaw and meowth. Also guitartrax needs to post an attendance for match 4.

I have a PM from Penshawe. Apparently the phantom closer was on at some point last night and he was unable to post publicly. But here is his entry:

    46001
    19001

Cheers Devo for sorting out the phantom closer.

Could it be someone in our midst with devious plans afoot. ??? <yikes>

With all the entries in I can confirm that all 10 of us have at least one fixture that has got more than one card against it. poor old chinasaint will be hoping that he hasn't over-estimated his atendance for match 3. He and the players above and below him all played their multicards on this fixture. This means his score for the game will be multiplied by 18. If his score is higher than the actual attendance you can make that 36!
Penshawdave also has 3 cards against a single fixture (match 4) His and meowth's multicards, plus Sweep's joker means that fixture score will be multiplied by 12 (possibly 24).
One other guaranteed double figure multiple is against pompeymeowth on match 5. Penshaw's joker and his own Penalty means his match 5 score will be multiplied by 10 (or 20).
His Double-Dare could rest in the hands of his opponent, guitartrax. Trax has only submitted 5 attendances withj fixture 4 missing. If he fails to post a figure he will face a score of double the worst for that fixture. To make things worse, that is the one for which Penshaw's is to be multiplied by 12 (or 24) AND will then have to be trebled due to meowth's multicard.

So if you're reading this guitartrax - post a figure for match 4 PDQ!
