    Results for 5 November:

    Blackburn v Chelsea: 21,985
    Coventry v Southampton: 15,621
    Charlton v Preston: 17,486
    Bradford v Cheltenham: 9,645
    Forest Green v Alfreton: 764

    Total: 65,501

Colin5164 made the best prediction, getting to within 114. garysfc is also mentioned in dispatches with a score of 220. Both contestants moved up a place in the table as a result.

Singing Blue 3 posted the worst score, of 6,844. However, he actually moves up two spots as non-runners Saint_Ford and TigerReece both faced a 13,688 penalty.

Four players have now missed three rounds and will be eliminated if they fail to post again. They are pags, Pompey_Needs_Nugent, Man MountainJaidi and Andoversaint.

There are no league fixtures next week-end because of the international break. I was going to put it all off for a week, but it is the First Round Proper of the FA Cup next week-end, so I have decided to go ahead with five FA Cup ties.

This week’s five fixtures are as follows:

    Newport County v Shrewsbury Town
    Luton Town v Northampton Town
    Plymouth Argyle v Stourbridge
    Barrow v Rotherham Utd
    Brentford v Basingstoke Town

As always the deadline is 12 noon on Saturday.

    Here is the latest table

Yes, but SB3 has yet to post his estimate so all is not lost. I will have do some thinking about this one.
Or I could just halve/double singing's guess if I am a bit busy.;)

I wouldn't use SB3 as a bench mark Channon. He was miles out this past week-end, but he was one of the closest last week

Herm, I think your 7,471 total is going to seriously punish any non-runners this week. I reckon they'll get that many at the Luton v Northampton match!

    I'm going for 21,203

I was unable to post last week as the site was unavailable here from last Wednesday until about two hours ago.

    I will go for 19,750.

OK, I have done the calculations and having passed a Currys Superstore recently, my guess is 19999.

Please note that I have posted this guess very early to dispel the myth that I simply average the earlier guesses.:emoticon-0158-time:

Gary, I notice that you waited until I had posted before you gave your calculation! Tut tut. There should be a rule against this, the equivalent of "goal hanging";)

Hi Woopert, I assume that your estimate is based on Bingo? Two little ducks, another two, and a solitary Wooperts duck to finish?

No, it's the Aussie scorecard, from yesterday. 5 ducks and not a lot else.
