There are two more casualties this week.

Ruperts_hockey_pal was a non-runner and had to record double the worst score. With Double Dares being played that was always going to be a high one. Also, the fact he was also facing a Double-Dare himself meant that his score had to be doubled again, giving him an ‘unfortunate’ total for the week of 119,720.
I am the Herminator knew this was his last round, defending just 5,580. He played a Double Dare on Wooperts_duck, but failed to record a better score, meaning the latter lives to fight one more day.
Of the seven remaining players, pompeymeowth played with fire and it came back to burn his backside. He actually recorded the third best score of the round, but Sweep got the best score of the week, meaning meowth’s was doubled. He clings on to 5th spot though, as Channonfoder’s 18,242 was the worst of the week without taking Double-Dares into account. This was despite the fact that Rupert’s failure to post meant the Joker was placed against his best score!
The only major change of position happened at the top, where Penshawdave dropped from 2nd to 4th, with devonFRATTONiser and RichisontheBus33 both moving up a place.

    Fixtures for 28th January:

    LEICESTER V SWINDON
    READINGV BRISTOL CITY
    ROCHDALE V BURY
    WIMBLEDON V ALDERSHOT
    LUTON V ALFRETON

Devo, 'Mr Fodder' is, as you know, a very shy secretive person who does not court publicity (a bit like Joseph Cala), so will probably send you a personal message with his entry, so us mere mortals are unaware of what he is up to !! <whistle>

When did Rich get off the bus and onto the boat? is he now a sailor boy and one of the merry band known as the blue army?<whistle>

  11. Well according to our Dear Leader ('Nige'), we've all been instructed to grab an oar, get on the boat and pull together in the same direction. Given our recent form, the wheels have come off the bus, so we are launching an amphibious attack... <whistle>

    That's all the entries .

Just to round up; every-one has chosen match 3 to Pay the Penalty. Every-one except meowth has played the joker for match 1. He has played his for match 2, meaning penshawe's score for that will be doubled, while the rest of us double up on match 1.

Woopert, for his swansong, has played the Double-Dare on Channon. Even if he survives it, Channon may still go by the wayside as he is defending a total of 11,877. He will need to be very accurate to stay in for another week. I reckon he is a gonner if he has overestimated match 1, as it would see his score for that match quadrupled.
Meowth is also walking a tightrope, with just 13,410 points left. Like Channon, he will do well to survive to play a swansong next week.

Well if that is the case, may I change my mind and go for the double dare option please? I would like to think that I could wipe the grin off the Cheshire cat as I go.<laugh>
