    Agreed. On his money we shouldn't be waiting for him to 'find his touch' at the beginning of each season. It was interesting to watch him during the Community Burger Shield - he gets frustrated and angry with himself at every poor touch or pass, clearly the spirit is still willing but physically he just isn't up to it. For his height he is borderline v. heavy if not overweight and he clearly struggles to maintain the pace of the game for 90 mins. If JM has him down as a striker for the season it might be that his plan is to use Rooney sparingly and rotate Zlatan, Martial and Rashford giving Rooney more time on the bench - in effect JM would be dropping him without having to deal with the hissy-fit that would go with it if he just came out and said it.
