This headline is really starting annoy me now it crops up just before every England game.

Listen hodgson Ricky won't be annoyed if you didn't phone him because you couldn't pronounce his name properly. But he is just what You and england need

It will become even more worse when Carroll comes back from injury and he will be picked to lead the line.

That's a bit uncalled for. An unnecessary low blow.

Lambert is injured? And if he isn't anymore, then he was hardly in good form the last couple of months! I would, without doubt rather have Jay Rod.

No sympathy for Roy or England national side. Any team who repeatedly selects a woefully out of form: Welbeck, Milner, AOC, Young, Defoe deserves to underacheive massively. Longing for the day someone is willing to call up players like Lowton, Clyne, Nath Dyer, Osman etc after they play well for club in the prem consistently!

I thought it was quite funny, having had a speech impediment myself we can laugh at our own kin.

Maybe so, but it's still a largely irrelevant point in a discussion about squad selection.

Evidently. Anyway Woy has left me livid this morning with his comments, take a look outside the top 6 to pick players!

Lambert should be in the squad. Hodgson doesn't have any excuses when Lampard, who is about to turn 35, is in the starting line up. I also think Rooney would be much more effective with Lambert in the side. The rubbish Hodgson spoke this morning is an embarrassment.

On the subject of talking rubbish, I can`t understand how such a talented footballer as John Barnes can talk such utter nonsense. No wonder he didn`t last 10 mins as Celtic manager. Or Tranny Rovers.

Has anyone thought that maybe it's to late to call lambert up now, there's a good chance he is already sunning himself in a foreign country and has not trained In a couple of weeks.

We all know Lambert is a great player, I think if he were to play for England, he would be made to look crap, such is the way England always perform.
