I know its only 1 game, but we really could go out and attack every team like that. Sure we'll lose a few but I think we'd end up with less draws and more wins . Got to hand it to Bruce he's got the right players in to fit the 352 and he has given us one of, if not the best, home performance of the last few seasons. Jay Simpson deserves a good run in the team now.
I've got to say if we a supposedly getting a loan striker on loan were will he fit in? Neither Simpson or Aluko deserve to be dropped and we've got Fryatt and Proschwitz aswell, Only option i can think of is with drop Koren (didn't do anything today) and play Aluko in his role
I'd say Olofinjana out with Koren taking over, Aluko dropping into the hole, and the new striker taking the place up front. I know it was a good performance, but there's still room for improvement (until you attain perfection always try to improve the team in some way). I thought Koren got stifled a little bit by Aluko dropping off the front and they were both occupying the same space. At times it led to good interplay, at others they got in each other's way. A bit more understanding between the two of them once they've played a few games together will improve it, and Aluko's touch was much better today compared to Brighton so that's maybe a sign of him being more comfortable at the club now he's been here a while giving him more confidence.
Koren and Aluko wil click sooner rather than later. Gonna be a good season, can't remember the last time I got in on a saturday and felt like this. I think we could beat Barcelona tonight.
I agree, I'm just doing the equivalent of watching the lottery draw and when everyone is getting excited about having matched 4 balls pointing out that there's still 2 to be drawn so we could be doing even better soon.
