Charlton will struggle to field 11 players for this one.

With Lennon declaring himself fit it may be time to change to a 5-1-3-1 formation with two wing backs and just one holding midfielder so my line up would be :

    ----------------- Amos
Dijksteel - Konsa- Sarr - Lennon - DaSilva
    ---------------- Kashi
    -------- Aribo - Reeves - KAG
    -------------- Magennis

We will still lose but perhaps not by 5 or 6

    <cheers>

    Sounds fair enough to me.

I just hope the team doesn't disgrace itself the way it did against Southend in the first half.
Their backs are against the wall now. If our fit players have any character, tomorrow evening is the time to show it.

It's a chance for Will Grigg to meet his new team-mates. Remember Old Reamsy was quite definite we would sign him in January.

Seems that Charlton are between 5/1 and 6/1 to win tomorrow night <laugh>..... the bookies are seldom wrong.

It will be a great atmosphere from the 3-400 we'll have up there, given today's fantastic news.

they should be an a party mood even if our beleaguered team gets a thorough beating as expected.
I imagine there will be a different feel to things at the Gillingham game as well. Not exactly festive, as we are still waiting for the 'imminent' news about the take-over, but certainly a mood of anticipation. Big changes are coming now, and the dead weight of the RD regime is losing its grip on us...

I’m sensing a hammering here, they tore us apart when we had a near full strength team. I’m fearing the rest of the season in truth.

Hats off to any Charlton fans going tonight, heavy snowfall predicted.

Assuming Reams will be there, what with Wigan being so close to home for him.

Anyone interested, you can get just worse than Evens on HT/FT Wigan tonight.

    Money for old rope.

If conditions are bad enough it might be postponed or abandoned.

In some ways I would rather get it over with. But we would have to hope that somewhere along the line our injury list will stop getting longer and begin to get shorter again. We might have a slightly better chance against Wigan a month from now rather than this evening.

Robinson should have all 7 subs on the bench tonight. His claim that you have to deserve to be on the bench by playing well for the U-23's is bollox. Dodoo is on the bench every week for no apparent reason, so why not one of our own? Jason Euell will tell him who deserves his place as sub, it will all be experience for whoever Euell recommends.

I would not put it past Robinson to make another theatrical gesture by failing to fill the bench.
He must be pretty hacked off by now, he knows the writing is probably on the wall for him.

Robinson will be making a theatrical gesture towards the Jobcentre in January.

Totally agree, Robinson made is point at Southend. We are taking 300-400 up to Wigan tonight so no gestures please Gobbo, just a competitive performance including a full bench .

    Ridiculous.

Credit to our starting XI, they have contained Wigan and made it to half time 0-0.
I would take an away point, now it is perhaps a possibility...

Two Charlton players booked; Mark Marshall & Ahmed Kashi.

    Full time 0-0

It sounded like a decent performance, with Ben Amos possibly the MOM.

A win against the Gills is now essential to keep the season alive.

Fair play to our team, they stood up to some decent pressure from Wigan but did not crack...

The only stat that really matters though is the score: 0-0 and a very good away point.

Well done the depleted lads. A point against a free scoring top of the table team is always worth having.
