...we were in 13th position had 55 pts, and was 7 pts behind 6th place. We're now, in 14th postion, have 55pts and are 8 points behind 6th place. What fantastic progress we've made!
Seasons not over yet though. How about waiting to see our final position before making negative threads. League position isn't everything when you're talking about progress. At least we can score goals now and a more entertaining brand of football is being played. After a poor first half of the season we are finishing much better, carry on like this next year and we can say that progress has been made.
what a pointless topic If we'd had runs from the last 3 seasons combined when we'd played well, we'd be top of the league. Likewise, if we had the other runs ( Keane's first games in first season ) and ( Jewell's 7 losses on the spin ) we'd have no wins and be bottom. I'm happy with the run we're currently on, lets hope it continues into next season.
