It would matter if he missed vital chances in games that other strikers might have scored. It's too much of a risk for me, league 2 to the top end of the Championship is a big jump.

Regarding Le Fondre, I don't see how a striker that couldn't cut it against our second team is going to lead our struggling first team to success. He had his chance to shine, but it was Schlupp that grabbed all the headlines.
