Would be available for about 350-400k, surely this is a bargain

even if he doesn't score that many it wouldn't matter

It would matter if he missed vital chances in games that other strikers might have scored.

It's too much of a risk for me, league 2 to the top end of the Championship is a big jump.

No Jeff Schlupp is better. If Le Fondre was any good surely by now a league 1 club at least would have signed him. Its not like they cant afford him as league 1 clubs do have a decent amount of money to spend now

    Now thanks. Just get Maynard

Nicky Maynard is "injured" so wont play tonight. Fourth Official and Bert seem to think a bid is not too far offer and itkagent1962 tweeted this. God knows if he is a real agent

Expecting #lcfc to go all out for Maynard with a hope to getting him by Saturday. Southampton remain hopeful to. Player prefers #lcfc

Who was it that said he was having a medical on Thursday? I'm sure that was someone 'reliable' on twitter.

I bet my arse no one will be signed by Saturday, especially if it's another pussy bid involving Waghorn.

Anyone can hope to have something wrapped up by Saturday...

I cant see this being over before saturday. I will be pleasantly shocked if Nicky Maynard is playing next to David Nugent come 3pm on saturday

    Speculation:
Skysports.com understands Rotherham United have set the asking price for Adam Le Fondre at £350,000 with a further £50,000 required in add-ons. The Millers have turned down a reported £300,000 for the striker from Sheffield Wednesday and have dismissed Coventry City's bid as a 'joke'.

Above is from Sky sports, I nearly fell of my chair laughing when I read it! Cov are now officially a joke

Are you sure he didnt dismiss Coventry as a joke not their bid. What did they offer 50p and 15000 sky blue unused plastic seats

We should stop mocking Coventry, it's too easy - it's like taking the p*** out of a disabled person. They're vastly inferior to us in every way, so let's just pity them.

Regarding Le Fondre, I don't see how a striker that couldn't cut it against our second team is going to lead our struggling first team to success. He had his chance to shine, but it was Schlupp that grabbed all the headlines.
