God forbid to agree with gomarchingin it will get me slaughtered but we are shipping to many goals and a high percentage of them due to our own mistakes .If you were to watch them all back a lot of them are down to sloppiness and we seem to fail for certain periods like yesterdays game when it was three goals quickfire, game over.Nigel is right to say we will score lots of goals but reality is we have to eradicate giving away gift goals to top class teams .However we have a talented group of players who can at times play some sublime football and who have already gained respect for the way we play .So if we can cut out the schoolboy defending we have a great chance of gaining enough points to survive this first season back in the premier

A backhanded compliment , God forbid someone on here who has the balls just to possibly agree with what I am saying , its not as if lots of professionals are not saying the sane thing , it's also hardly controversial to say we need more defenders .
No-one is saying we couldn't do with extra defenders. I think it's the way you've been saying it! We have what we have until January so let's get behind the team. We will win more than we lose wit the current squad and a bit of strengthening in the next window the sky is the limit!
And I agree with that , but people conveniently ignore the reasons why , Why did we not get more quality defenders in ? Does Adkins and Cortese rate what we have curenntly at the back ? Or where they looking for more and failed to get them ? If so why not come out and say ? If Cortese is a shrewd businessman I am sure we could of acquired more ? These are the real questions to be asked , I understand we will lose more than we win and that will probably always be the case for us as thats the state of the modern game for a club of our size but that battle for equality is for another day , this simply concerns the reasons to why we did not strengthen more when we knew we had to from last season , its not defeat its the manner of defeat that concerns me most .
