Because that's THE most crucial thing for the entire prospects & stability of the club isn't it? Or have I fallen back in time 4 years or so? Have we moved onto conquering Europe or sumfink? I get so confused.
Guessing that we turned a profit or damned close to it last season, and even in the first season back (before the new TV money, and with a large outlay given that we had just returned) we were close to break-even. We didn't need a net transfer income of 70m+ to make the team financially stable, we were already financially stable.
Yep, we earned £75m alone from Sky last season. Plus probably another £10m+ from ticket sales and all the other guff. So great news! Why aren't you celebrating?
