Can't see it being the sell out that many were predicting. Even with the ticket promotions.. 2 live matches in a row.. This must be a first for many a year
It may get pretty close....I had to wait around 20mins this morning to access the on-line ticketing site....it is still a 4-5 minute wait now!
Got my tickets now, £15 for me and the boy....what a bargain, why would you want to watch it on to TV these prices, section 6 for change....I will let you know what it's like in there.
Regarding the ticket pricing, is this something that 2 clubs have been forced to do? or is it something they have just come up with of their own backs? either way, its bloody fantastic.
I am sure I read somewhere a few of weeks back that both clubs had agreed on the pricing structure, so i am sure the prices for the replay had already been set prior to the original 3rd round tie.
well if that's the case, well done to both clubs. I didn't know if it was some FA thingy to get more fans at games.
Yes it is big to both clubs, sold out at Saints on Sunday and i am pretty sure we will be in and around the 26,000 mark for a midweek game next week. Compare that to the half empty Goodison park last night.....
tv and seat booked for the game tonight, bring it on saints, rumour has it koeman may rest a few tonight like us concentrating on league.whoop whoop.
Town legend Terry Butcher is one of the pundits tonight! I don't know if anyone else listens to the Chris Evans breakfast show but he featured Mick on his program this morning reading out "On this day" which made me chuckle! Apparently Chris Evans is a friend of the McCarthy's through all the charity work and fundraising that Mick does.
God he is such a decent bloke...we are so damn lucky to have him! Think I might drop him a line about a certain White Horse!
The game is on Fox today so I'll get to see it. As soon as the whistle goes I have to jam straight to work though so I'm not late. Hopefully it doesn't go to extra time, I'll miss some of it.
