Perhaps a slight misuse of the word "atrocity", (given the usual understanding of the word) but his actions are no doubt "atrocious".
In any case, you're right about the HDM article. It finally points out the divisive actions of a stupid man.

It would seem the scales have tipped for the HDM; I wonder why?

Perhaps just a simple case of no longer being able to ignore the bleeding obvious.

Good to see they have finally laid out the truth of the matter, and who is at fault in this fiasco.

P.S. I think Steve Bruce could do a lot more to try and get the old man to understand the culture of football fans, as he is probably the only one who has a chance of getting through to him. Football for many fans is their religion, and he AA just doesn't seem to understand it.

Seems to reckon we'll get the academy status. I wonder if that's in Airco or the bubble?

it's been one thing after another in the last few weeks - the name change second application, the Airco, the ticket prices and now the ASI fund, each event pushing the scales further down - I know Allam tried to fight back with the £1.5 mill for the Allam Robot but it was too late, the scales had already tipped

Is this the first time the HDM have come out with such a strong anti-Allam statement?

First time in the sport pages, but Angus Young's been giving them a heavier battering over Airco in the news pages.

And Ferriby, which is arguably one of the worst.

That's an excellent piece, the phrase "The innocence and unity of those times has long since departed." is especially good

The whole situation is tragic because its completely unnecessary

Hire a PR expert and listen to him you old fool!

The beginning of the end? Hopefully we stay up and finally attract the new owner that apparently may be sitting in the wings? Allam has done a lot of good, but he's burnt his bridges too often and has a total disregard for the supporters of which I'm one, so I'm now taking a similar approach. Season ticket renewal NOT happening, I'll be more selective about matches next season

Even their existence was in question because of the financial mess he inherited in December 2010. No one else was hanging around the KC with a rescue plan.

Good to see he agrees with some if us on that at least.

It should really be about his attitude rather than whether he can simply buy people with his big pockets of money anyway.

Has not, Newcastle United fan, Angus Young, got a vested interest in the Airco Arena?
