Apparently Fatty DID take £10m out of the club in the Summer as a loan repayment. He’s also apparently scheduled to take another £20m later this season.
Ashley had promised in an official statement back in May - as he had done 12 months earlier - that Benitez would get "every penny" the club generated in the Premier League, as he claimed he wanted the Spaniard to stay long term. But instead he has decided not to stick to that pledge, with Benitez's refusal to sign a new deal thought to have been one of the reasons for him doing so. The club refused to comment when asked to confirm £10m had been repaid to Ashley and to explain why it was taken out of the club given the lack of financial support for Benitez in the transfer market. Sources have indicated that the money repaid was not meant to be a long-term loan from the owner. However, although £10m is not a large amount for a Premier League football club, it would have made a significant difference to Benitez’s transfer budget.
That's fine (sort of) if that is taken into account when selling the club as that is £10M less the club "owes" him. However, that penny pinching my bite him in his fat arse as the club may be relegated yet again and will be worth less
My bigger issue is the under priced advertising he takes out of the club. I reckon he trousers the equivalent of another £5m a season as he only values the ads at £3m.
This is all getting so ****ing tedious .......................... the guy is a ****ing multi billionaire and still it is not enough for him........................... he is a greedy ****ing parasite and i hope that he eventually reaps what he sows so freely. Victorian working practices at his warehouse that leave decent human beings petrified to take time off for fear of loosing their jobs and not being able to support their families ........................ dubious business practices that, whilst not illegal, are certainly unethical because they see more people loosing out financially .................. the systematic destruction of one of the greatest football clubs in the world and the alienation of the most loyal set of supporters in the world, by changing over 100 years of club history and changing the name of SJP, treating said stadium like a cheap advertising hoarding, treating genuine club legends like dog ****, treating good honest decent blokes like Chris Houghton like dog ****, lying time after time to anybody within earshot about just about anything, asset stripping the club, dragging the clubs good name through the gutter, employing utter clowns like Wise, JFK, Jiminez, Lambias etc, running the clubs infrastructure into the ground................................ treating credible business professionals like they are complete ****ing arseholes, just so that he can 'prove' that he can piss higher ............................ in fact, treating just about every other human being that he interacts with, with utter contempt, including his own parents. He is a ****ing despicable human being and instead of being lauded by some sections of the media for being a 'successful businessman' they should be looking at exactly what the collateral damage is that surrounds one mans 'success' ..................... he is absolute ****ing scum.
If you step back from the NUFC situation and just look at him as a fellow human being, he really is a piece of ****. Look at the way he treats his warehouse workers and look how they and their partners and children suffer just so that he can rake in a few quid ...................... it's ****ing scandalous and it is about time people walked completely away from parasites like him.
How would you feel if it comes out he has been doing this for seasons, but takes this as a dividend almost (rather than paying off any loan he gave to us ten years ago)?
I would feel like we should sack our auditors as it had never been included in any of the previous years accounts. When shareholders take a Dividend it should be recorded as a reduction in the Retained Earnings on the Balance Sheet.
Id suggest he works in Parliament doing MP’s expenses. Just before I cut his head off with a spoon and mount it on shearers statues aloft arm
True... but let's say there were toing and froings between NUFC and SD, with the funds ultimately withdrawn from SD...
I would suggest that there's been a much larger withdrawal of club funds than just £10m. Where has all the TV money gone? Bottom line is - with Ashley at the helm, the club is a rotting corpse.
I think that is fair enough to be honest. He's owed the money. The only issue of course is most owners would do it differently and add it to the end price for sale. Football clubs volatility means Ashley is unlikely to want to do this, plus he is greedy enough to want both. He issued these as short term loans in fairness to him and was open about it. He wanted the money back but realised the club had a cashflow problem. The question is often raised where has the TV money gone. On running the club I would suggest looking at the accounts. We will see as the next two years accounts would tell us plenty. Or at least they will if stay up... Relegation just skews everything. The cynical would suggest this suits Ashley just fine.
