Great game at every level, excellent team play, some clever and purposeful passing , breaks from the back and determination in the gaol square. Truly a game to remember which ever team you supported.Hats off to Sterling especially and James too plus non stop Gallagher. However all the Team deserve credit, no slackers, no dopey mistakes, just hard and fair play pretty much all game.Wish we could play City every week, they bring out the best in us !!

Great game to watch for the neutral and yes, you are definitely beginning to click into the teram i expected.

Still think Mudryk has much more to offer in the coming months, he's a very good player when on form and confident.

Mudryk just needs more game time with the rest of the Team playing well. Also looks better when he has the left back to overlap with. Colwill playing there out of his true CD position takes this away. With Cucurella in decent form, Sterling thrived on interplay with Cucurella on the left and with Gusto, a proper fight back, on the right. Cole Palmer on the right was great with slick interchange with Reece James Hope Poch gets that and keeps playing a back 4 with proper left and right backs. So much more Chelsea attack started with his well selected back 4.
Big step up today, sense that much better cohesion is starting to happen.

Is it reaLLY TRUE THAT 45 PEOPLE HAVE READ THIS POST, BUT NONE HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ??
WHY ARE THEY EVEN READING THIS ????????????

We do seem to be able to match the “stronger” teams so we’re obviously not miles away from getting it right.

Have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player improve in such a short space of time as much as Gallagher has. Always worked hard but technically was let down but he’s quickly turning into quite a complete midfielder. Caicedo still needs to do more imo and I’m not overly convinced by Disasi, would prefer Badiashille. Thought the full backs were excellent, including Gusto when he came on and Jackson is now pretty much 1 in 2 so I’m not sure why he’s getting so much stick.

Good performance from Chelsea against City.
We went toe to toe with them for 90 minutes and proved that we can play with the big boys and get something from the game.
The team is looking like it might be starting to click, Sterling, Caicedo, Jackson all look 10 times better than they did at the start of the season.
We still lack a little dynamisn, someone to unlock tight defences I feel. Spurs and City came out and tried to score which left them open at the back and the suits our team. Its no secret that our best performances all season have been against teams that came at us, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and City, where as the teams who sit back and play it tight and organised, such as Forest, Brentford etc have all turned us over.
Hopefully Nkunku returning will help us in that regard, he seems an exciting type of player, and hopefully he will live up to that.
Hopefully we can also sell a couple of players in January and bring one or two players in as well, a CB at least.

The fragility of James and Chilwell are still our achilles heel and James especially, we look like such a depleted team when he is out and he is far too injury prone, and that needs to be addressed.

Read just yesterday that Pochetinno has asked Chelsea Medical staff to review all the injuries and reassess and advise on any change needed to training methods. Seems he too is thinking something is not quite right there. Also read about Thiago Silvas' personal medical treatment, 2 or 3 people every day provide a personalised care program from 8am until after 5pm. He's a miracle on 2 legs that bloke.
