"I want to make sure we don't go into the first play-off game with no energy, with legs hanging off and not having given ourselves a real opportunity," he said.

"If every player who I think will play in that first leg plays every game between now and then, I don't think they will be in the right state physically and mentally.

Well what is he trying to pave the way for? easy results to allow PNE 3 points? that would surely be against the grain for MKD... and easier games for LOrient and Colchester which would pee off Crawley Crewe and Notts!
Walsall appear safe but have a good record against top clubs anyway..

Fair or not coming from a manager none of us trust!

To be fair I think he has a valid point and if I was in his boat I would be thinking about doing the same thing. So what if it affects the other teams, he manages Swindle and they are his priority.

Tbh I quite like cooper and think he has done a good job at Swindon on a shoestring budget.
Whatever you think about their fans, Swindon have played some attractive football at times (when not fouling or cheating!!) and Cooper has said some good things about our club from when he used to come to AG when his dad was manager.
