Marca and Real Madrid are at it again, this time Monaco is the target, they are after Falcao,Real President Perez has told Marca that Falcao had said he wants to join them.Monaco have said he is not for sale after they only bought him 6 months ago
I feel for Monaco, because we now know it's only a matter of time before the disruption to the club (by Falcao having had his head turned) forces the move. I'm hoping the Real makes the same move for Goofy, shortly ahead of the January window.
Ever since the 75% tax rate was introduced there's been rumours of Factitious doing Monaco a "favour" by taking Falcao off their hands.
More than likely, if he decided N.London it wouldn't be here, though I seriously wouldn't want him n Ozil teaming up there.
I don't think i could hate Real more. They continually ruin our team and now they seem to be making it their sole purpose to make Arsenal great. **** you Perez you cock sucker
Benzema's a good player but he's not as good as some people think, he's as prone to miss sitters as Giroud is.
I think that this might be a little play for the media, actually. As Croydon pointed out, the tax changes have caused a bit of a problem for Monaco and Falcao was linked with a move virtually as soon as he'd signed. Real get to play Billy Big Bollocks by going out and getting their man from a club that's claiming that he's not for sale, after the dragged out Bale move that hasn't exactly set the world on fire. Monaco get to offload their biggest earner and their president gets to save face by blaming the player and Madrid. Everyone wins.
For now I think Monaco do not have to worry about offloading Falcao just yet, they have been asked to relocate their headoffice if you like to mainland France by next summer. Naturally Monaco have taken this to the highest court possible with hearings scheduled imminently with a decision to come in at the end of the year. As a protest against the 75% tax rate anyway, I also read French clubs are boycotting playing the weekend 29th Nov/2nd Jan, as legislation has changed from taxing individuals to their businesses they work for instead, so there's a long way to go on this subject still.
Yeah, that tax rate parity with French clubs must hurt eventually. But would have thought other players would become ballast well before Falcao going has to be considered. Moutinho watch methinks for AVB ...
Okay, I'll admit I was a little rash and assumed this was another thread on the Y-word chants before reading it, so I may have sent a strongly-worded message to Peter Herbert via his Linkedin account...
The estimated tax bill for PSG wih their array of high earners is 40 odd mill, Monaco's will be a fair bit less if they have to pay at all. Their owner is the 11th richest Russian and nothing to do with oil, fertiliser of all things, so small change for him.
