Nice interview with Clint
Of course Hill's commitment is never under question but his pace and talent today has to be But he makes some great points and has a nice kitchen but not to my tastes Harold could learn a lot from this man I think he would make a brilliant manager for us
Totally agree with you here DT. He has to be made into a coach for us. His self substitution in May I think is a sign of tactical knowledge and was understated in our not loosing that game.
His attitude is amazing. He is one of our oldest players yet has a such a desire. we need a lot more players this rather than Rio I am only here to sell my book
It would be just our luck to secure Defoe in January, then have him distracted with a book tour, pick up another one of those groin/hamstring strains that he seems quite prone to, putting him out of action for a couple of months - he just returned to Toronto FC after 9 weeks injured, most likely TFC will not make the MLS playoffs. In our recent transfer business, I do not understand why we have always been so reluctant to pick up additional proven strikers to cover off injuries, act as impact players off the bench, make the group compete for selection etc. Even if Remy had stayed we still needed another striker option, now we need to bring in two, to score those goals that will hopefully keep us up. Look at the quality of strikers that Man City often leave their bench.
What a very good point made in the above statement regarding the substitution, our so called coaching team would have ever thought of doing that, FFS put Clint back in the first team where he belongs.
