Aston Villa are going after Wigan winger Charles NâZogbia as they attempt to replace Ashley Young. With Young now a Manchester United player, Villa manager Alex McLeish is keen to add a pacy wide player to his ranks. NâZogbia is viewed as the number one choice and Villa reportedly made a £9 million offer for the Wigan man. The 25-year-old was a target for McLeish at former club Birmingham but his transfer fell through. But Villa face competition from several Premier League clubs and a French outfit to secure his signature. The race is expected to hot up tomorrow when the transfer window officially opens. Former club Newcastle, Sunderland, Everton and Liverpool are all expected to bid.
