Arsenal supporters trust have voted to retain their shares and have urged other small shareholders to do the same - citing that 'Arsenal FC is too important to be owned by one man' A shrewd move and one that will ensure that supporters have a voice at board level at AGMs. Arsenal's fanshare model (where fans can buy part of a share) is rightly lauded as good example of fan involvement in club ownership. Kronke is a fan of this model and has moved to assure the AST that he wants to maintain this relationship. The future ownership of Arsenal remains unclear at the moment, Kronke's acquisition of Fiszman's and Bracewell-Smith's shares means that under takeover rules he is compelled to make an offer for a takeover, but this doesn't necessarily mean that it is a fait accompli - more of a chess move to ensure that Usmanov doesn't try likewise. What is clear though is that the AST and therefore the fans will retain a voice in the new board structure
