The results of this years AST Survey have been released. What are other Arsenal fan's opinions on the results of this year's survey ? http://www.arsenaltrust.org/news/2012/ast-2012-survey-results-fans-rally-behind-wenger
Nicely loaded question in there: Do you think the Arsenal Board should invite Red and White Holdings (Alisher Usmanov) to join the Board or Red and White Holdings? Hmm... tricky choice!
In what way is the question loaded ? 6. Do you think Stan Kroenke should invite Red and White Holdings, which now owns a stake of just under 30% in Arsenal, to be represented on the club’s Board? Yes: 82% 12% 6%
It's on the first page that you linked to Cym, not in the actual survey itself. "The AST has also published a separate document which shows the trend of opinion amongst the membership over the last three years on the following questions: How satisfied are you with the football performance of Arsenal Football Club in recent years? Do you think the Arsenal Board should invite Red and White Holdings (Alisher Usmanov) to join the Board or Red and White Holdings? Looking at Arsenal's new ownership structure, its 'self-sustaining' business model, its football management and squad strength, and comparing it to the other Premier League Clubs, how optimistic are you about Arsenal's prospects during the next five years." I'm sure it's just an editing error.
Interesting that we haven't had any comment from Jayram on the AST this year when you consider last year he launched his anti Wenger agenda using the AST as his gospel evidence. I note the AST shows strong support for Wenger.
Now that first Chelski and now City have totally distorted the Premier league, I suspect that 40% believe the only way any other club other than those 2 and United (the former richist club), can ever win the title is to have a sugar daddy. I blame Chelski for destroying English football.
Of course you do my friend. Of course you do. The inability to compete with us is what drives your anger and the fact there is a New World Order. Look at United, they haven't hid behind excuses they've just got on with it. Chelsea haven't distorted the market anymore than anyone else down the years
I haven't had a chance to read the AST survey yet. I'm just catching up on the last three weeks of footie news. But I would be surprised if there aren't a fair few more disgrunted fans this year, given that RVP is 'blaming' the club for him not wanting to extend his contract. My view - RVP owes Arsenal more than one good season and they should keep him until the end of his contract.
I'd go with that. At his age and injury record, that figure would be good business for us. He's still our best player though and I think we need him next season. Even though I think he's a **** for coming out and saying what he did.
But then I also think we should keep the ungrateful bastard in the reserves for a year, if we don't get that kind of money... However, lot's of rumours doing the rounds that suggest this saga may not be over.
I've been out of the country for the last month, so I'm just catching up on all the footie news. I read something a few days ago about RVP doing a 'u-turn' but it was in a crappy Yank sports paper, so I didn't pay much attention. What's the latest ? As I've said, I think we should keep him anyway. He owes Arsenal, he's our best player and we simply can't go on selling our best players every season. RVP is taking the ****ing piss with his comments.
