...who would you want brought in as replacements? Had a conversation with a friend yesterday and we came to the conclusion that in today's market you'll be looking at about 15mil simply to replace the quality those two have, which, realistically, would be a huge chunk of our budget.

Anyone a budding scout? CB and CAM are hugely important positions and at the moment we seem to have players perfect for the way we play there, it really would be a shame if we couldn't retain either for next season, but I have no doubt the club already have lists of potential alternatives.

    Any ideas?

Junior Hoilett has got to be an option if Blackburn go down.

As for a CB, no idea...had Samba not gone to that Russian team could we have got him? That said, both him and Hoilett are very good players and I reckon one of the bigger clubs will try to snatch them.

No idea on both, but I do think that Brendan has people in mind, and I would put money on us not hearing of them before, I know siggy was at Reading but how many of you really knew about him before we were in for him ?

I did a bit from his Reading days but didn't think he was special.

Mills from Leicester and Snodgrass from Leeds could be good fairly low price options. Can imagine that we would get someone in from abroad though due to the way we play and that you get a lot more for your buck :)

Also i'll say it again...Collison would be a good buy....could push Allen into a more attacking role

Or Southampton could be fairly good for a bit of a raid if they miss out on promotion, Schneiderlin, Lallana, some very good midfielders!

Yea we will have to unearth them...
there's also the possibility of selling someone to raise the money...Like for 6-8 million, if we are forced to sell anyone, then it could open up the possibility of being in the market for him

If QPR get relegated , Nedum Onuoha & if he will give us a break on wages so he can play a bit more , Michael Owen !!

Lallana is a tidy player, good shout. Same with Mills, I like him a lot and weren't we in for him before? If Leicester don't go up he might fancy it...

We were. Heturned us down I believe for bigger wages at Leicester. Could be worth another raid.

Is he not? Not watched many CCC games this season. Reading seem to have coped very well without him.
