Is this what a ashley is doing to take value out of the club before he sells for a ‘lower’ £100m? I can honestly see the situation where we have, say £75m in the bank.. we get to November.... he takes back half his loan then sells. It’s clear there is a lot of money to spend and surely Fatty ain’t that daft to think the money will sit, undetected in their next set of accounts. For that reason expect some ****e signings, on the cheap/free and nothing more. One last bit of turbulence hopefully before this cancer in our club is finally removed.
I muted exactly this a couple of months ago that this is what he would do and I got absolutely hammered on here by some people. But I think this is what he is doing. He’s taking a huge gamble though.

He's a first rate arsehole. The club has money and he is making sure that Rafa can't have it. Rafa is standing up to him and fat **** doesn't like it. If Rafa goes then the fallout will be huge. Ashley is playing with fire this time.
Who says the club has no money? Mitro, Merino and Mbemba plus the Premiere League payment. Add to that a few extra for selling the surplus detritus and by my reckoning there has to be around £80 million generated from the above. Player sales, the money was said to be Rafa’s. The PL money is for the club, it’s not Ashley’s. So why are we scraping around the bargain ****ing basement and loans yet again. Think the devil is in the detail here. He said every penny not pound. We ought to be like kids at Christmas looking forwards to the new season, but as some have rightly said, this is not going to end well.
This all over. His club, his money, his rules. If £150m of revenue = £75m costs and £75m for his loan repayment, then Rafa can clearly have everything else. Live in hope of takeover. Guardian said it's not beyond the realms of possibility to simply wake up and the club's owned by Saudi Arabia.
Rafa isn't daft. He understands the finances very well. He knows Ashleys game and is letting those in doubt know with very clever comments. Rafa has a wide network. Don't be surprised if that network includes potential buyers.
