we are now in limbo and free fall; waiting for Tan to find a buyer ar he strips th club's assets. The real reason for the chane to blue (as I understand) is that Adidas said something along the lines of "we'll sponsor the shirts next season but only if you play in blue because the red just isn't selling." 15000 red shirts were returned apparently. we need a buyer and we need one fast.

Don't necessarily agree. I can't see a queue of possible buyers lining up. Sometimes better the devil you know.

Players on high pay had to go to deal with FFP. Most hadn't really contributed much.

You could well be right on shirt sales though.

If we carry on the way we are we will be playing in 'Lucky blue' in the 3rd division next year.

I don't see a queue either, and indeed, you're right, sometimes 'better the devil you know'. However, I see no indication that he's committed to the club. Were he to sack this clown and employ someone who has some idea about how to play 21st century football, I might change my mind. But I'm very worried that the limbo we're in is very bad for us.

Tan has no hope of recouping anything like the amount he has "invested". This article here in today's Independent is interesting indicating that a controlling interest in Reading is for sale for £1 with only £38m of debt to be inherited by the new owner.

Arguably Cardiff is a better prospect with attendances around 25% greater than Reading but Reading has locational advantages for hot shot businesmen due to its proximity to London. However the level of debt is so great at Cardiff any sane individual would simply walk away.

Maybe this is being pessimistic, but I think think we are in for rough times. The owner probably wishes he never bought the club, and I would not be surprised if he cuts his losses, however big they are, and leaves us in the hole soon. Our only chance at all was to have stayed up. But as only Cardiff can, we went about that like a bunch of amateurs.

I honestly think that Tan has lost interest and probably is unsure what to do. He knows he wont get a buyer unless he basically gives the club away and comes up with some long term debt repayment plan, but he also does not want to throw even more money at the club when it appears so hopelessly managed from bottom to top.

You're right Whoops the club is currently worthless. Tan would have to do the same thing and retain a huge amount of debt whilst giving away the rest.
What will be interesting is whether the combination of the fire sale and the parachute mean that debt will be significantly reduced over the next couple of seasons.

The club was changed back to blue because it was fundamentally broken, not because Adidas want to sell 'x number of shirts' IMO.
I did say once we were blue again the anger would just skip straight onto the next thing, because we'd still be ****.

Well, yes, the club is fundamentally broken, you're right, but Adidas's commitment to sponsorship is a side effect of that, surely, as are many other things. However, the fractured club is down to Tan. The buck stops with him. It is him who has ****ed this up. I have every sympathy with his desire to get rid of Malky, given what we now now, but it's only ac www months since a new stand was built ffs. It's so difficult to know what's goin on in his head.

The new stand was to get us up to the required number of seats for the European cup game we hosted wasn't it. He was probably thinking we would still be in the Premier League when he made that commitment.

All gone very quite on the new training ground though.

Its a wonder that Bellers hasnt said something about the current situation yet, unless he has been told to keep quiet, which i would imagine is a pretty tall order. Come on Craig lets be avin the truth.

Somebody needs to say something other than 'the playoffs shouldn't be discounted'.
