Thought he had a very promising game yesterday, if you didn't see it here's his highlights. some impressive creative trickery for sure.
He looks a player doesn't he? Done well in pre-season. Him, Sturridge and Coutinho could be excellent with all the movement, skill and vision they have.
I reckon this fella will come good and prove we bagged an absolute bargain. Another good piece of business by BR
I like the fact that he's always on the move. Holds it well and brings others in to play. Affront three of Suarez/Sturridge/Aspas. Or costa for Suarez (?) would be good I feel
Or Aspas Suarez Costa Many many options. Borini was looking good at the left at the end of last season to.
I love the little flick at 1 minute. He looks good. Quick, energetic, good movement, looking for space, feeds off through balls and knows when to pass instead of shoot.
Played pretty well yesterday. As with any new player in pre-season he's had good and bad but looks an instinctive player, works hard and certainly looks like he'll add to the squad. Not going to judge yet but getting a few games under his belt seems to have helped his link up play.
You include Eriksen but I think papa is more likely to happen so you could probably include Papa as well.
Impressed with Aspas (so far!) - quite surprised Rodgers said that he wasn't pretty on the eye. I would have to disagree - I think he's a clever player with a few tricks under his belt. You can see he's hard working as well, constantly on the move but what impressed me the most was his ability to make something out of nothing. Enrique had lifted the ball over to him and he did some back heel in mid air, pin perfect for Allen.
That clip also showed how good Sterling has looked this preseason, linking up well, direct and has a bit of awareness about him it seems this year.
