Didn't they put it right back till October.

The problem we have now is, if they wanted to use Ashton Vale as a concert venue that could be now gone as organiser's will probably go for the UWE to have a less impact on traffic congestion getting to UWE than Ashton Vale with it only being 1 mile from the motorway links.

We can still go for the corporate meeting venue with hotels ect but that will depend on restrictions on UWE once again due to locality. It might be worth looking at plan B and going for a redeveloped Ashton Gate or take the chance on AV being what they originaly wanted it to achieve.

This is the time perhaps for a major rethink.

We still either need a redeveloped AG or a brand new facility at AV irrespective of the division we're playing in.

Football clubs need to be earning revenue virtually every day of the year and what we have currently doesnt earn us much outside of match days (and the way things are at the moment it doesnt earn us much on match days either!!).

We need the hotel, conference centre, restaurants, and other leisure facilities on top of the football activity on the pitch.
