Looks a lot better than some of the comments have indicated. I know there are still lots of things to be done and that the Atyeo will not be revised until all the residents behind it have been moved on, or thrown out on the streets by the mobs (joke), but in the interim would it be that difficult to join the ends of the Dolman and new Williams stands to the Atyeo so they look part of the same stadium?

Starting to look like something we should have had years ago doesn't it?

The old girl is looking good. This option was always my choice over Ashton Vale

Its continuity, which is more than Arsenal managed with their Emirates stadium. I do feel that moving to a new location destroys a little of that club's history.
When I eventually sit in the new main stand and look down at the pitch, it will be easy to remember Jimmy Mann v Peter Shilton, or Gow to Fear for the equaliser against Leeds Utd. I won't be looking at somebody else's pitch and feeling like a stranger.
    That is so important

    Wonderful images BigJohn

My guess (and that's all it is) is that the Ayteo will be left as a stand alone structure for now Mike
Filling in the corner where Atyeo meets Dolman would only be a temporary measure and there's still the access walkways to the Dolman to factor in.
Once the club have the housing stock and can do as they wish, hopefully the stadium will look finished with a bigger stand to replace the current Atyeo which will blend into the new Grandstand and the Dolman to make a 30,000 plus bowl.

Never mind it will still move us ahead from what we had. I must confess I am surprised that redevelopment took so long when you compare us to other teams that went that route many years ago. Also glad we stayed at Ashton Gate and I sincerely hope that the season ticket office has noted all the post codes for those who hampered our future by claiming their dogs were more suited to the turf out in Ashton Vale and ban them from ever attending matches.

They probably wouldn't be upset because clearly their pooches are the most important thing on the planet. Anyway onwards and upwards.

For the first time ever, we have a stadium worthy of being in the Championship. It's looking a million times better than I thought it would look.

I'd rather see us at Ashton Vale, but this is more than adequate for our current position, assuming the potential for further expansion is there.

I think we'll get a taste of the new scale once the Williams is gone and the outline structure for the Grandstand starts to take shape. It's going to look amazing,.and look how deep it's going to be compared to the Williams and the offices/players entrance behind it.

The new stand looks fantastic - the Grandstand looks almost twice as big on the Bristol Sport graphics (I think 11,500 capacity?)

What's going to go where the Hirerite building was?

What will the capacity be whilst the Williams stand is rebuilt?

    Just over 27,000.
Difficult to be exact as we don't know if hospitality boxes are included in the seating numbers.

Cider, I thought that was the all up capacity once the Williams is complete. Surely it is reduced while they complete the Wiliams?
