Old bacon face is a total bellend. Just cos they couldn't beat us, sour grapes to say the least. If anyone should be charged by the FA it's him for his ridiculous comments, even the Man Utd fans and now Rooney have come out and disagreed with him.

    a pat on the back.
Attempted murder?! FFS. How many of us have had a ball kicked in our faces before? It stings a bit and thats only if you get hit on the nose, the back of the head?
It would do no damage at all, just make you jump. RVP got straight back up onto his feet within seconds of it happening to acoste Williams. It was clearly an accident, he was just trying to clear the line and mis kicked the ball....
Infact RVP should get a retro active ban for assaulting the player
    Fergie is a muppet

Fergie didn't mention the flare fired into the home end by the Man U fans did he? Now that WOULD have killed some one.

His reaction to Rooney elbowing someone in the back of the head? "There is nothing in it".
A ball is clearly far more dangerous.

The rate he's going this year there won't be any refs other than Webb and Clattenberg allowed for Manscum games.

It was Keeganesque "I would love it if he has a life ban, love it" SAF feeling the pressure?

Never in the annuls of premiership history, has one man influenced so many officials and believed by so few, with his after match comments. I expect the death sentance for Mr Williams, and Manslaughter for his manager Mr Laudrup. R.I.P. Mr Williams.

I'm not a legal expert but if I were Williams I'd do everything I could to sue Ferguson for those comments, totally defamatory and no proof that Williams even intended to kick the ball at RVP's heads.

Fergies sheep will actually believe RVP was caused serious harm but those of us who live in the real world and have morals know Fergie lost the plot years ago. I wonder how Fabrice Muamba feels about those comments or maybe even Petr Cech.

United's cheerleaders (Sky) are actually siding with Fergie and trying to put pressure in the FA to ban Williams but I hope for once he FA see sense and punish Fergie. Not only is Fergie defaming the character of Williams it is also the ref as well. Michael Oliver had a good game, he must be gutted United didn't win now. League 2 for him in the New Year.
