From what I've read he can only raise his stake to 10% can't he? I don't think they could get an owner much worse. He's not letting them spend what they need to. God knows how they've stayed up so long. Miracle really.
Perfect for Rangers, they're perfect for him too. He will make more money from Newcastle I think if he could keep them in the league and the fans relatively happy. The problem with that is he dices with relegation by acquiring poor signings and taking too many risks. Rangers would cost barely anything to get them mixing it up with Celtic again. Seems logical but as you say he's got a stumbling block.
