I dont think any of the bigger teams need him. Arsenal probably do, but they probably wont have him back, the rest i just cant see it, maybe spurs i suppose. Is he back with cheryl (i never keep up with celeb crap so got no idea) if he is and she is a mag, i cant see it happening. Not being funny but the suggestion is just ludicrous. He is one of the best left backs in world football and would have his pick of big clubs and CL teams. Regardless of age its a complete non starter. I'd say we're probably a bigger draw than Sunderland and I wouldn't dream of mentioning him in connection with us because I'd be branded deluded/insane.
