To be honest, this probably did deserve its own thread. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. He looked really promising a few years ago, German U-21 international, but I've not watched much Bundesliga in recent years. Safe to say we've got our wings covered now. Does Davies convert to a CM to see some game time? He is not that likely to be ahead of Duff/Kaca/Dejagah/Richardson/Frei/Mesca, really.
My eldest, who knows more about European players than me, says he's an attacking midfielder. I think he can play wide or central, but it's interesting that the official club announcement describes him as a winger. Until I saw that I thought he was signed to fill Dembele's boots. Now, who knows? At least we've got someone to look forward to finding out about. It's all good.

The only thing I'd add (apart from thinking he will be a great signing) is that he's an excellent crosser of the ball - now there's a novelty.
